Onza's Lynx tire is their Trail/AM/Enduro range tire. We found this to be a very fast rolling tire with a predictable, rounded tread shoulder. Onza has a similar design to the Maxxis High Roller but without the squared off shoulder tread. The High Roller is a fantastic tire, but there are many trail/all-mountain riders who don't aggressively lean the bike over enough to benefit from the High Roller's square shoulder. The Onza Lynx provides a smooth transition from the center tread to the side tread which best for most riders.
Onza poured their tacky, durable RC2 rubber tech into the Lynx giving the Lynx a 65a center tread and 55a side tread on the durometer. Combined with the highly varied knob pattern and well placed knob sipping, the Lynx is an exceptionally well balanced tire for those who want to have fun, climb with minimal rolling resistance, and enjoy a predictable tire that bites deep and doesn't like to let go.
